Hello. Yay for Hump Day. I ran on the treadmill for about a half an hour and then walked a varied interval program. My legs are sore but it’s all about takin care of myself.
A different kind of knitting post today. This morning I was notified I had a message on Ravelry:
Tin Can Knits are well-known, knitting designers. Many of their patterns are free and they have clear and detailed tutorials. If you are a beginning knitter (or know one) and want to make your first sweater, their Flax pattern is one of the best to try out.
Remember my (post linked) Big Woods Flax? I had rushed to knit it up for STITCHES West 2017 2018 because Susan B. Anderson was going to be there at the marketplace. Then after the conference I blocked it out where it transformed like a caterpillar into a butterfly. I think this is the photo they’re going to use.
I’m excited for Tin Can Knits’ post to go up! I’ll be keeping an eye out and will then let you know. Have a good Hump Day. TTYS.
Oh my gosh. Thrilled for you! Wheeeee

How exciting! Congrats! I will be keeping my eyes out for the post. Your Flax is lovely in green. I am thinking of making one for the kid but in a cotton/wool blend since he gets hot easily. I love the versatility of sizing in all of the Tin Can Knits patterns.

That’s smart to use a blend of cotton and wool for your son so his body is able to breathe more in a full sweater. You are so right; their patterns have a wide range of sizes.
