Good morning. What are you up to today?
Today is I guess is going with the flow since last night I had Craft Night. I made cheesecake again and received ^__^ many compliments. Right now I’m keepin busy as the husband and I are trying out 16:8 intermittent fasting; this means we fast for 16 hours of the day and eat during an 8 hour window.
Thursday was when the two of us started. It was hard for me because I had to wake up early and run around with the kids for their appointments. Plus, later on the teen and I ran by Pet Smart and then TJ’s. I turned onto the wrong street at one point, got my sense of direction wrong afterwards, and then had to make a (legal) u-turn to get back right. Later on I had a slight headache, but once it was about noon, I ate and all was right with the world again.
So I’ve been knitting on and off of my Purlbreak:
Supposedly there’s 500 stitches on my Chiaogoo.
There are four stripes of House of Ravenclaw II now:
I’ve got 16 more rows of striping to knit up before I can hit the last section of the pattern. I am biting at the bit!
GTG. The husband keeps coming around as his belly is rumbling and ready for some mum mum. Have a good Saturday and TTYS.
I do 16:8 fasting also; however as I’ve become more adapted, I’ve been able to push it out to 18:6 on some days. Sunday is the only day I don’t do it because hubby and I always go out for breakfast on Sundays.
I’ve been prepping for a dinner party I’m hosting this evening. And will try to get in a few rows on the blanket I’m working on once I finish reading others blogs. I hope your weekend goes well!

Thank you. It’s hard the last hour. Today I had to keep reminding myself I couldn’t eat yet, LOL.

Had never heard of 16:8 fasting. Interesting. I will go check it out. Your shawl is so pretty. I am on book 4 of the HP series.

Husband lost a lot of weight a few years ago with 16:8 intermittent fasting. Unfortunately, he’s back to evening meals and regained most of the lost weight. I used to follow this regime too, but lately I’m more 14:10, suits me better during the long summer days.
I love your progress on the shawl!

Have you shared before about your craft nights? I’d love to hear more. I tell myself I’d love to be part of something like that, but for some reason I’m not into making it happen. If you’re so inclined, I’d love to be inspired, friend. 🙂
