Like I wrote yesterday, I’ve been knitting away, actually for the past 17 days. I migrated from bed to the couch. My butt’s been making a deep imprint in one corner, where the lamp’s located.

I recently bought this pattern but had bought the yarn last year at STITCHES West 2019.

The yarn is Youghiogheny Yarns – Highlands DK (base) – in the colorway Frosted Spruce. Of course the color is why I had bought it. I love them teals and greens. I chose this weight because I had Groovy in my queue.

A close up of the yarn. I love, love those blips of color. They’re like these pieces that stick out from the main strand of yarn.
This shawl pattern is a 20-row repeat. I’ve knitted it seven times already. It’s simple knitting – blocks of stockinette and reverse stockinette – and great for showing off a yarn’s colorway.
Thank you very much for the well wishes yesterday. I’m not in pain anymore which is good. I just have to wait til I can see my oral surgeon again to get the stitches out. I’ve been slowly eating regular food, chewing like a snail.
I hope you are well and calm. Have a good Monday. TTYS. Bye!
That is a perfect shawl color way Stef. I just love it.

Such pretty colors for your shawl. I like the pattern also. I wonder why you were not given dissolving stitches? That would make me a bit crazy being able to feel those stitches this long.

That is gorgeous yarn! One of these days I hope to get my hands on some pretty speckled yarn. I’m just hoping I manage it before it goes out of style. That’s about my speed with these kinds of things…
